We are letting agents that have been around since 2008. We have an office in Derby that has been running for over 5 years, proving and improving on our practices and support. We are now ready to expand to find other franchisees in the Midlands.

What do we Offer?

We offer you a franchised region (to be mutually decided), training, branding, instant access to Rightmove, Zoopla and other advertising sites without requiring a separate account, support and the power of the my-let lettings software.

Who are we Looking for?

We're looking for letting agents and former letting agents who are looking to start their own agency, but without high initial costs and with the support of a larger organisation. We're also looking for enthusiatic individuals who want to get into the lettings industry.

What do you need for your my-let franchise?

The main thing you need is drive and ambition to build up your business.

Financially, the costs involved include the fee for starting your franchise, which is only £10,000+vat. This is not payable until you're happy with what a my-let franchise can offer you. If you decide to start in a serviced office (recommended) then you will need to find the rent each month. You will need to find money for advertising, leaflets, popup banners, newspaper adverts, etc. There will, of course, also be some office startup costs. i.e. a laptop, printer, camera, office supplies, etc.

As a professional agency, we require that you will also train for, and pass, the ARLA level 3 NFOPP qualification This may take some time, but is an essential part of understanding the lettings industry and working with us to the standards we expect. You will, of course, have to remain a member of ARLA and pay the annual membership.

How are we different?

How is the my-let franchise different to other franchising opportunities?

my-let understands you will be starting from a standing start and don't want the overheads it could involve. You also need the support of franchise processes backed up by a professional software system.

Smaller Overheads: You'd be starting small, working from a home office or serviced office. You won't have to pay the full Rightmove & Zoopla charges for an independent office; as a franchise we pay them all for you. You don't pay us a monthly fee regardless of your income. We only get paid by you, when you get paid by your customers.

Professional Software: We want you getting out and about, building your business, helping landlords sort out their problems, not dealing with routine paperwork at the office. The powerful my-let lettings software manages many routine events, leaving you free to do what you do best - Looking after your customers. For instance, you don't need to be spending your time checking if a tenant has paid their rent and either transferring the rent to the landlord or chasing the tenant. Our back-office systems do this for you, on the rent day itself, with landlords receiving their money the following day, all without you doing anything.
